Quantum Physics:
The Boundaries of Reality
by Chuck Missler PURSUE THIS TOPIC: RESOURCES The Creator Beyond Time and Space Series with Mp3 The Creator Beyond Time and Space Series on CD-ROM The startling discovery of modern science is that our physical universe is actually finite . Scientists now acknowledge that the universe had a beginning . They call the singularity from which it all began the "Big Bang." While the details among the many variants of these theories remain quite controversial, the fact that there was a definite beginning has gained widespread agreement.

revised June 21, 2000 ABSTRACT: This paper begins with a review of developments in the modern Western worldview, especially as they relate to the relationships between psyche and matter, with particular emphasis on certain trends in psychology and physics in the early 20th century. Next the paper discusses several ideas relating to the connection between psyche and matter, especially those related to Jungian depth psychology and quantum physics. The paper concludes with some thoughts on how the unity of psyche and matter suggested by these ideas might provide a framework for an integrated understanding of both the inner and outer realms of experience.
Introduction
If a union is to take place between opposites like spirit and matter, conscious and unconscious, bright and dark, and so on, it will happen in a third thing, which represents not a compromise but something new. - C. G. Jung

Visual Quantum Mechanics
The Visual Quantum Mechanics project, funded by the National Science Foundation, introduces quantum physics to high school and college students who do not have a background in modern physics or higher-level math. To reach these students, the instructional units integrate interactive computer programs and digital multimedia with inexpensive materials and written documents in an activity-based environment. Quantum
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation search "Quanta" redirects here. For other uses, see Quantum (disambiguation) In physics , a quantum (plural: quanta ) is the minimum amount of any physical entity involved in an interaction. Behind this, one finds the fundamental notion that a physical property may be "quantized," referred to as "the hypothesis of quantization . This means that the magnitude can take on only certain discrete numerical values, rather than any value, at least within a range. There is a related term of quantum number . An example of an entity that is quantized is the energy transfer of elementary particles of matter (called fermions ) and of photons and other bosons A photon is a single quantum of light, and is referred to as a " light quantum ". The energy of an electron bound to an atom (at rest) is said to be quantized, which results in the stability of atoms, and of matter in general. As incorporated into the theory of quantum mechanics , this is regarded by physicists as part of the fundamental framework for understanding and describing nature at the infinitesimal level. Normally quanta are considered to be discrete packets with energy stored in them. Planck considered these quanta to be particles that can change their form (meaning that they can be absorbed and released). This phenomenon can be observed in the case of black body radiation, when it is being heated and cooled.

National Budget Woes Affect Physics Research
Monday November 15, 2010 Anyone who follows financial or political news to even a marginal degree has probably heard about the recent announcement from the co-chairmen of President Obama's bipartisan deficit commission, wherein they announced (surprise) that the economy is in trouble and getting out of debt will take some serious efforts: cuts in spending, removal of various popular tax breaks (such as the mortgage interest deduction and tax-free treatment of health employer-provided health insurance), and increases in the retirement age for Social Security.

Title: Quantum Nonlocality: Not Eliminated in the Heisenberg Picture Authors: R. E. Kastner Subjects: Quantum Physics (quant-ph) It is argued that the Heisenberg picture of standard quantum mechanics does not save Einstein locality as claimed in Deutsch and Hayden (2000). In particular, the EPR-type correlations that DH obtain by comparing two qubits are shown to exist before that local comparison. In view of this result, the local comparison argument would appear to be ineffective in supporting their locality claim.

What exactly is Quantum Physics? Quantum physics is simply a science that studies and explains how everything in our world comes into existence starting from the physical aspect of the events, conditions, and circumstances of everything in the Universe and breaking them down into their most basic form, attempting to discover the Source from where they are derived from. Whether or not you may currently be aware, Quantum Physics , Spirituality, your thoughts, emotions, and success or lack of success in life are ALL closely intertwined or interconnected. In fact as modern day quantum physics has discovered, they're much more interconnected than you may realize. Unless you have been exposed to physics at some point, just the mention of Quantum Physics may seem a bit overwhelming to many, but it's really not as intimidating or hard to understand as you may think. In fact, as you will soon discover it is your thoughts and beliefs concerning Quantum Physics that makes it easy or difficult to understand. If that statement seems a little puzzling at this point, rest assured, it won't be once you've finished reading this article and develop a deeper understanding of how it is that Quantum Physics more specifically Quantum Mechanics determines the outcomes in your life and the world around you.
