“Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths amongst women and affects over 1.3 million women per year. Breast cancer doesn't discriminate by nationality or race. Do you want to be like breast cancer? Well, do you? If you don't discriminate you're acting just like breast cancer, you might as well just kill 400,000 women annually. If you think breast cancer is a bad thing and you're against the death of a half million middle-aged women then racism is for you. Remember: racism is not like breast cancer at all. ” David Duke on racism “I'm not racist racism is a crime, and crime is for black people” ~ Sean Joyce on racism “I'm not racist, I hate all races equally. ” Oscar Wilde on racism “Racist? The only white thing ahead of me is the finish line, shazamm!”

The games that we play today are virtually the same games we played ninety years ago with a few exceptions. The first difference is the equipment we play with. The second difference is the skill level of the players. The third and possibly most important difference is integration of the games. If you take away the new equipment, and the players skill levels you still have the same game with the same basic principle. However, if you take away the integration of the game you would take away a whole other dimension that people of different race have brought to the game we play. Golfers would still be driven balls without tees. Players like Hank Aaron, Tiger Woods, and Muhammad Ali would never have rewritten the record books. Most importantly, however, these players of other races would still be playing in obscurity never being recognized for the greatness of their athletic ability. On this web page, we will examine the change in sports

Racism
Every individual on earth has his completing causes; consequently an individual with perfect causes becomes perfect, and another with imperfect causes remains imperfect, as the negro who is able to receive nothing more than the human shape and speech in its least developed form. Judah Halevi Kuzari (I, 4-6) [ A History of Jewish Philosophy in the Middle Ages , Colette Sirat, Cambridge University Press, 1985, 1990, p.2] Their qualities of character, moreover, are close to those of dumb animals. It has ever been reported that most of the Negroes of the first [climatic] zone dwell in caves and thickets, eat herbs, live in savage isolation and do not congregate, and eat each other. The same applies to the Slavs. The reason for this is that their remoteness from being temperate produces in them a disposition and character similar to those of the dumb animals, and they become correspondingly remote from humanity. The Muqaddimah, An Introduction to History , Franz Rosenthal translation, abridged and edited by N.J. Dawood [Bollingen Series, Princeton University Press, 1967, p.59] Be it known to you, that the Traffic in Slaves is a matter on which all Sects and Nations have agreed from the time of the sons of Adam, on whom be the Peace of God, up to this day and we are not aware of its being prohibited by the Laws of any Sect, and no one need ask this question [i.e. whether the trade in slaves be lawful], the same being manifest to both high and low and requires no more demonstration than the light of day.

Very few people can claim to have no prejudgements about people of other race s, although many people work hard to eliminate their personal prejudice s and many others do their best to keep their racist thought s limited and private . Sometimes, people act on their racist thoughts, either through violence or through hateful speech this is called bigotry . Youth Against Racism in Europe

As has been widely covered in the media, the BNP lost 27 councillors in the 2010 local elections, only retaining two that were up for re-election. Although they still have 19 councillors nationally. Their biggest drubbing came in Barking and Dagenham where they lost all 12 seats after it had been widely reported that they could take control of the council. On the surface it would appear the BNP have been beaten, or even at least severely wounded but this is the easy way to look at it. More ...

File:Coloreddrinking.jpg Racism is discrimination or prejudice based on race. It is based on a belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others. More complex definitions can be found but the idea centers on some difference in ability or character between races of mankind. If Ethnocentrism juxtaposes itself against other races to arrive at a belief of superiority of ability or character, that is called racism. Racism has been used to justify social discrimination, racial segregation and violence, including genocide The term racist, when used to describe someone who supports racism, has been a pejorative term since at least the 1940s.

Posted: 11 Rabi-u-Thani 1422, 3 July 2001 (Note: This article is a direct response, using the same format, on a line by line basis, to an editorial that appeared in the Montreal Gazette on April 26, 2001, written by Gil Troy, a Professor of History at McGill University.) On this, the 53rd anniversary of the Nakbe' (the Catastrophe of the Palestinian people), it is all too tempting for friend and foe alike to define Israel, and zionism, solely by the Americans' proclamations of its enlightened democracy. To do so is to miss the normal atrocities that occur in Israel daily, the millions who are under curfew and blockade, starving and brutalized, in the Middle East's only colonized state. To do so is to feign the reality of zionism, a racist and irredeemable movement, that survived the twentieth centuries' other genocidal and seemingly passing revolutions such as Bolshevism, Nazism, and Apartheid. A century ago, zionism extended Western colonialism to Palestine.

Racial separatism is the belief, which is based on racism most of the time, that different races should remain apart from one another. Racism has existed throughout human history. It may be defined as the hatred of one person by another or the belief that another person is less than human because of skin color, language, customs, place of birth or any factor that supposedly reveals the basic nature of that person. It has influenced wars, slavery, the formation of nations, and legal codes During the past 500-1000 years, racism on the part of Western powers toward non- Westerners has had a far more significant impact on history than any other form of racism (such as racism among Western groups or among Easterners , such as Asians , Africans, and others). The most well known example of racism by the West has been slavery, especially making Africans slaves in the New World (slavery itself dates back thousands of years). This happened because of the racist belief that Bback Africans were not as human as white Europeans and their descendants.

Exaggerated fear of blacks at root of Cincinnati unrest By Claude Lewis
A few years ago, when the Rev. Jesse Jackson enjoyed greater credibility, he confessed he felt relieved when a young man walking behind him on a dark street turned out to be white. In Cincinnati, the fatal police shooting of an unarmed 19-year-old black man, the fourth since November in that city, has sparked unrest during the last two weeks. Such behavior cannot be justified, but certainly people should understand the fear and frustration on the part of blacks there. One tearful Cincinnati resident, Loria Artis, put it simply: "We're tired, we're tired." True, the victim, Timothy Thomas, was no innocent. He was wanted on multiple misdemeanor charges including traffic violations, driving without a license and driving while not wearing a seat belt. Should he have lost his life because he attempted to run from officers, knowing the police as he did?
