"They've dedicated countless hours to spearheading grass-roots advocacy efforts in California. We are excited to honor them for their achievements." The CSRT is comprised of volunteer radiologic technologists who spend a significant amount of time in the California state legislature educating lawmakers about the radiologic science profession and the important work of radiologic technologists. Additionally, the society actively engages radiologic science students by offering two mentoring grants annually for students to attend the ASRT's Capitol Hill lobbying event, called "R.T. in D.C." Moreover, the CSRT operates a student legislative committee that teaches other affiliate societies how to create their own student committees.
