Activities
The safe conduct of outdoor and adventure activities requires active decision making in the identification of potential risks and difficulties. These adventure activity guidelines are a primary reference for the development of risk management plans specific to the location, activity and group participating in a program. They support your professional judgement and experience. Where a teacher intends to inspect a venue or location, either within or outside of normal school hours, prior approval should be sought from the principal. The Adventure Activity Standards are agreed minimum activity standards for adventure operators and they do not necessarily reflect the greater duty of care owed to students. For activities not listed on this site, principals, teachers and school council members need to comply with the AAS, and consider the greater duty of care that is required for students. It is surrounded by the peaks of Maglic (2386m - the highest mountain in Bosnia and Herzegovina), Volujak (1978m) and Snjeznica (1804m). Perucica forest is separated from Zelengora Mountain by Sutjeska River and its beautiful canyon. The forest is 6 km long and 1 to 3 km wide. It covers an area of 1291 hectares. The Perucac creek goes through the forest and it spectacularly falls down a 75m high cliff ( Skakavac waterfalls More info..... TARA RAFTING Recreational whitewater rafting on The Tara River began in 1964. Prior to this the river had only been used for commercial transportation of logs. Today, Tara Rafting is a combination of unforgettable relaxation and adventure. The level of attractiveness for rafting of the Tara River is from 3 to 5 which places this river in "the most attractive rivers in the world category" alongside Colorado and Zambezi rivers.
Rafting is performed in rubber boats, specially designed for wild waters. The boats can accommodate 8 - 10 people. We provide a full rafting gear for our customers including boots, diving suits, life belts, helmets and rain coats if needed.
