Computer recycling
Computer recycling is the practice of salvaging useable components from obsolete electronic devices. The term is also used to refer to the practice of safely disposing of electronic devices, which often contain toxic materials and therefore must be handled in a different manner than normal garbage. Computer-based training Computer -based training (CBT), also called computer -assisted instruction (CAI) is a type of education in which the student learns by executing special training programs on a computer. CBT is especially effective for training people to use computer applications because the CBT program can be integrated with the applications so that students can practice using the application as they learn. For information about new works and projects, please go to these blogs: codeanticode His artistic interests move around the use of interactive real-time graphics, computer aesthetics, and the interrelationship between artistic expression and scientific thinking. His latest artistic work deals with the exploration of the visual and expressive possibilities brought forward by real time computer graphics and interactivity, specially in the context of performance. He was involved in several theater and performance projects back in Argentina, where traditional acting and staging was blended with the novel resources of digital projections and live visual interpretation. He also worked in close collaboration with visual artists to create interactive video installations and tools for live drawing. Since 2005 he has been actively involved in the development of moldeo, an open source tool for live interpretation using images, video and real time visual effects. andres.colubri@gmail.com

Paradigm Entertainment (previously part of Paradigm Simulation ) was an American video game development company . Paradigm is perhaps best known for its vehicle simulation games . Founded as a 3D computer graphics company in 1990, Paradigm primarily worked on realistic flight simulation technology for major space and aviation clients. The company got its start in game development when it was contacted by Nintendo in 1994 to aid in the creation of one of the Nintendo 64 's launch titles Pilotwings 64 . The game was a critical and commercial success for the developer, causing the simulation and entertainment divisions of Paradigm to separate and focus on their respective products. The newly independent Paradigm Entertainment continued to develop for Nintendo's 64-bit console. After a short partnership with Video System , Paradigm was acquired as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Atari in 2000 and began developing games for sixth-generation video game consoles . Paradigm was sold to THQ in 2006 and was ultimately closed in 2008.

I have 2 real time threads, one rendering graphics, and the other loading data off of disk, I want the thread loading data to never go above a certain CPU usage, like 20%. But right now when I load something it hogs the CPU and slows my rendering way down to like 1fps for a moment. Ideally it would take a little longer to load, and only drop the fps to like 20-30. I have tried using SetThreadPriority but it doesn't work very well. I basically need some way of specifically monitoring how much CPU a thread is using, this is probably not even possible without using special dlls and libraries... Business Wire Nov 2, 1994 The initial game being offered with the attraction, DroidWackers, was scripted with BOLT Inc. in Los Angeles and invites players to save a futuristic mining colony from malfunctioning droids. ElectraDOME is an 8-ft-diameter mini dome that includes an innovative projection system, which uses the movement of a player's head to determine game response within a virtual environment. Dubbed the "helmet that isn't," the projection system is truly one of the most distinguishable characteristics of ElectraDOME. Players are given a disposable, souvenir headband that is tracked by a servo-optical projector. The system provides superior performance without the encumbrance of a helmet. According to Cliff Cox, the attraction developer, "Problems associated with helmet-mounted displays like dedicated attendants, hygiene, maintenance, and individual fitting are eliminated with this design." ElectraDOME offers amusement park and entertainment center operators a high-throughput, high-tech, virtual reality attraction that can be changed or updated using new experience software. A preshow effectively extends experience length and teaches players how to maneuver within the gaming environment before they enter the dome.
