Spanish cooking can initially be described as a cuisine relying strongly on olive oil and garlic. It is Mediterranean cooking and easily identified by the presence of these two elements in the recipes and flavours. These basic and unmistakable ingredients which Spain shares with other Mediterranean countries are found in a wide variety of dishes.

zSB(3,3) Many dishes are prepared today using the same cooking methods and ingredients as they were two or three hundred years ago. Other dishes sprung up from European and American influences and were adapted to the Spanish taste. One thing is for sure, food in Spain is fresh, abundant and full of taste and the Spanish love their food dearly.
The two basic ingredients of all Spanish food are olive oil and garlic . However, because Spain has very distinct geographical regions, settled by different ethnic and cultural groups, and because the weather is so different from province to province, the regional cuisines are very different. Many times the only common ingredients are olive oil and garlic Here is a list of typical ingredients and foods:

Every Spaniard has his favorite tapa bar where people go regularly to meet their friends or business acquaintances. Tapas can be found in even the smallest bar in a tiny village. People often only know Malaga through its international airport on their way to other parts of the South of Spain. However, to do so is to miss one of the most beautiful cities on the Andalucian coast.
Malaga has a historic city centre with winding streets, hundreds of tapas bars, a cathedral, Arab castle, the new Picasso museum with over 200 works donated by the Picasso family, lively festivals and nightlife, and nearby beautiful beaches making this a wonderful place to be based at any time of the year.
Your base for the two weeks will be an area up the hill from the former fishing village of Pedrogallego, now part of the eastern suburbs of the city. Mainly inhabited by Spaniards, this residential area enjoys fabulous views over the sea and is easy to reach by local transport from the city centre.
Our school in Malaga has its own mini-campus including a swimming pool, sunny terraces, a restaurant and lively bar, multimedia learning centre and 20 modern classrooms.

Home View Articles About Enter Company Name Here Contact Us Categories Welcome To StimulusCheck Stimulus Package Update: 5/27/2009 May 27th 2009 marked the 100-day anniversary of President Obama's $787 billion economic stimulus package. Obama spoke at Nellis Air Force Base and said to a crowded roomthat "we are already seeing results." Obama cited the fact that the stimulus package has already created an additional 150,000 and given a lot of much-needed money for infrastructure repairs. About the Stimulus Plan In 2008 the U.S. government decided to offer Americans economic stimulus checks. These stimulus checks were issued to over 120 million U.S. households in order to provide a little extra money for Americans dealing with increased gas prices and the housing crisis. The requirements for getting a stimulus check were not very restrictive ensuring that most Americans would get a check. To be eligible you must have a Social Security Number and an income greater than $3000 on your 2007 Federal Tax Return. For those receiving checks, the amount could either be $600 or an smaller amount for those making over $75,000 a year. In addition parents also received $300 for children who are eligible 16 years of age or younger. Don't panic if you have not received your economic stimulus check yet. So what could prevent you from being ineligible for a stimulus check? One main reason people are declined for a stimulus check is if t hey are using an ITIN or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number instead of a Social Security Number. Also for those Americans who do not normally file a tax return, you will have to use Form 1040A-3 to be eligible for the economic stimulus check.
