Registered Charity No 244108 Ashmount RDA Group have produced two sets of documents that may be useful to other groups. Click here for hints for helpers and here for tick sheets (four Word'97 pages in a DOC file) covering each of the riding grade badges. A reception area is available to keep the riders dry and warm whilst waiting. A variety of activities are on offer which encourage independence and help contribute to improvements in a wide range of medical conditions. Riders may enter competitions ranging from Special Olympics (with working trails and dressage classes both off and on lead rein) to Riding with Music, with optional fancy dress. The group sessions would not run but for the team of volunteers who help for an hour or so each week. New volunteers are always welcomed and training is provided.
