Paralysis and SCI in the U.S.
There are nearly 1 in 50 people living with paralysis in the United States approximately 6 million people. That number is nearly 33% higher than previous estimates showed. Almost 1.3 million of those are spinal cord injured.
It means that we all know someone living with paralysis. They live with a condition that affects their family life, their ability to work, and their capacity to enjoy everyday activities.
