Welcome to the Texas State Federation of Square and Round Dancers® official web site!
If you are looking for a fun activity that is packed full of fun and entertainment, then you are at the right spot.
Modern American Square Dancing is America’s folk dance. Texas is one of over 30 states that recognize Square Dancing as America’s dance. It is not the same square dance that your third grade teacher taught you and is not a competitive sport. It is a fun-filled activity that just happens to be good exercise both mentally and physically. Just click on the interactive Texas map and see where to go to find Modern American Square Dancing where ever you are in Texas.
If you are a dancer looking for somewhere to dance in our great State, then I invite you to also click on the map to find somewhere to dance almost every day of the week.
You will also find interesting material about Square Dancing, Round Dancing, Clogging, Line Dancing, and Contra at this site. Just explore our easy to use menu system to locate lessons, dancing, and educational material about dancing here in Texas. See you in a square real soon.
