The premier academic competition for high-school students in the U.S. is waiting
for you!

Texas is in an elite group of competitors with 11 national championships in the last 25 years
of competition. Come be a part of
this growing program.
Come join the second largest academic program in the nation and take advantage of the wonderful opportunity to be one of the beneficiaries of $150,000 in scholarships that are awarded each year to Academic Decathlon competitors in Texas, more than any other state in the nation.
There are 40 states that compete annually in Decathlon competition. Texas has three divisions of competition. These divisions are based on school enrollment. They are Small School – 3A and below, Medium School – 4A, and Large School – 5A .
The highest scoring team in the state goes to national competition. National competition is held in a different competing state every year. It’s a chance to travel, win medals and scholarships and make new friends all across the country!
Small and medium-school winners compete online at their respective campuses. (USAD enrollment figures determine eligibility for this competition)!
