The CBC documentary Chasing the Cancer Answer tells us:
• 14 million Kg of carcinogens are released into the atmosphere in Canada each year
• Childhood cancer is up 25% in the last 30 years
• Wendy Mesley's blood was tested for some 60 heavy metals, pesticides and other toxic chemicals. Among the pollutants found within her blood were several known or suspected carcinogens, including: Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), Organochlorine pesticides, Cadmium and Nickel.
• She interviewed Dr. Sam Epstein , Author of Cancer-Gate who contends that drug companies and politics have encouraged government financial support for a cancer cure rather then prevention through reduction in toxic chemicals.
A study on breast cancer by Breast Cancer Action in the United States tells us:
• the Breast Cancer rate has increased 54% over the past 26 years even though billions of dollars have been spent on breast cancer research.

by Lynn Tondat Carter T he time may soon come when our spiritual journeys may become blocked by the sheer inability of our bodies and minds to join in. The reason: insidious poisoning by toxic chemicals. How are the effects of these toxins manifested in the body and mind? It is estimated that 60 to 80 percent of all cancers are a direct result of chemicals in our air, water and food. Further, neuroscientists are now studying the role of environmental toxins in the development of neurological disorders such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases, and in mental/behavioral disorders such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia and attention deficit disorder. T oxins that directly affect the nervous system are called neurotoxins. Since the nervous system is intricately connected to the immune system, neurotoxins also affect our immune functions. Thus, our very ability to think and feel normally can be drastically affected by exposure to toxins. It does not take a giant leap of logic to realize that we could soon be in such a state of toxic poisoning that we would be unable to "problem-solve" our way out. How serious is the problem? Serious.

For most people the definition of health is the absence of disease even if they take a pharmacy of medications to feel that way. Unfortunately, today's world is a toxic world and eliminating toxins is not easy to do. It takes years of abuse before sickness strikes. The body is very efficient at eliminating poisons, but it loses effectiveness as we grow older. And with more pollutants and toxins than existed fifty years ago, that spells trouble for health. If you want to stay healthy in today's unsafe environment, there are some steps you can take to eliminate those poisons and give yourself a good chance of gaining back or keeping some of that vitality and health.
Drink Water: The first step to any cleansing program is to drink plenty of water. Water helps to flush out toxins from the body. Unfortunately, most people don't drink enough water. Statistics indicate that up to 90% of people are dehydrated. Since there is not enough water to help flush out pollutants, those poisons accumulate in the fat cells of the body. Symptoms of dehydration include fatigue, headaches and a weakened immune system that opens the body to the daily viruses and bacteria that attempt to get a foothold. Water plays a key role in the metabolic, digestive, and cellular regeneration processes.

Following the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico on April 20, Nalco was called upon by the response team to provide Corexit 9500 to help minimize the effects of the incident on the shoreline and other sensitive marine sites, because it is EPA-approved, safe, effective, and has a long history of successful use. 1. The EPA continues to state that the use of Nalco’s dispersants has been effective and has not significantly affected the marine environment.
    • As the EPA noted on its website on May 27, “toxicity data does not indicate any significant effects on aquatic life. Moreover, decreased size of the oil droplets is a good indication that, so far, the dispersant is effective” in the Deepwater Horizon response.

Petitions by Change.org Start a Petition Unexpected Toxins Without knowing it, 35-year-old Jeremiah Holland lost a lot more than weight when he decided to start seriously exercising two years ago. His racing bike helped him trim down from 118 to 90 kilos (260 to 200 pounds). What Holland could never have suspected was that during that period, he was also ridding his body of something else something he never knew was there: polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), dichloro-diphenyl-trichloroethane (DDT), perfluoroctane sulfonates (PFOS), phthalates and a host of other unpronounceable chemical substances that are stored in fat and that remain in our bodies for a long, long time. Holland would never have been the wiser if he hadn't been chosen as a test subject in a project conducted by the Oakland Tribune, which studied the effect of toxic chemicals in the human body.

Environment News Service SACRAMENTO, California Farmers are spreading fertilizers containing toxic waste on farm fields and home gardens, state and independent tests have found. Even though these products may exceed federal standards defining hazardous waste, the state of California is proposing new rules that would legalize the current practice of allowing these toxics to be mixed into fertilizers, said Dr. Bill Liebhart, a soil scientist in the Agronomy and Range Science Department at the University of California at Davis. State data analyzed by California Public Interest Research Group (CALPIRG) and Environmental Working Group (EWG) show that more than one-sixth of the commercial fertilizers tested by the state from 1994 to 1998 exceeded federal hazardous waste thresholds.

Biofeedback incorporates basic principles of energetic
management, from ancient Chinese traditions, to the
emerging field of Quantum Dynamics were considered.
This gave rise to a perspective that a river of energy
connects every organ, every thought and every emotion. The flow or blockage of energy reflects a profound system of communication that demonstrates the body/mind intelligence. Biofeedback seeks to create and integrate an environment of wellness, balance and harmony. The entire process is safe, gentle and non-invasive. It works by reducing the stresses on a body at the electro-magnetic level caused by food, toxins, environment, genetics, lifestyle. The Biofeedback system then feeds back the appropriate electro-magnetic signals, using nano-second computer speeds, to insure total safety.
