We currently monitor nearly 500 bathing waters during the bathing water season (May to September) and assess whether they comply with the standards of the current Bathing Water Directive
        Classification of water quality
Each bathing water site receives an annual water quality classification for every season. This classification is calculated from 20 samples taken during the season. We count the number of certain types of bacteria which may indicate the presence of pollution, mainly from sewage or livestock waste. Total coliforms (TC), faecal coliforms (FC) and faecal streptococci (FS) are bacteria that are not directly harmful but indicate the presence of pollution. An increase in the concentrations of bacteria indicates a decrease in water quality. All values are colonies per 100ml of sample.
        • Excellent means the bathing water meets the criteria for the stricter UK guideline standards of the Directive (includes lower levels of concentrations and a third parameter (FS)); limits used are TC: ≤500; FC: ≤100; FS: ≤100.

Page 3 of 3 Previous Remote Sensing application of current field on sea water surface layer and water quality on harbor and bay Extraction of turbidity information large quantity of chlorphyl is the sea area, where the exchanging of water is bad. It means that the current field, current system, and terrain are control parameters of sea water turbidity. By the application of remote sensing image, sea chart, and related hydrometric information, we can make synthetic analysis. We can also use fuzzy membership functions m m (C2) to describe the control factors of sand quantity and chlorophyll quantity. At last the related membership functions of sand, chlorophyll ,and turbidity can be set up: m (s) = F [TM2/TM1] m m (ch) = F [TM 1 /TM3] m m (T) = m (S) + m (ch) (9) where m (S) - sand membership function m (ch) - chlorophyl quantity membership function m (T) - synthetic related function of sand and cholorophy quantity -the "AND" logical operation of fuzzy function.

WATER QUALITY ANALYSIS Water quality is the most significant aspect of any body of water, especially where fish and other aquatic organisms are concerned. Water quality is affected on two levels, chemical and physical, therefore we analysis these factors both in the laboratory and in the field. Chemical Analysis of water samples takes place in university laboratories to establish nutrient concentrations, Ammonia levels, dissolved gases (Oxygen and Carbon dioxide) and pH. Physical analysis determines the effects of, Thermal Stratification, Light Penetration, Hydraulic action and Silt deposition.
HABITAT ENHANCEMENT Let us help you to create the optimum conditions and provide protection for native wildlife or precious fish stocks. Our conservation procedures are accepted as the best way to boost aquatic ecosystems. SILT REDUCTION -“ Aqualibrium-Calcipure”: 100% organic silt digester and eco-boost. Stimulates aerobic breakdown of detritus. Reduces silt, neutralises pH. Used by us regularly to stimulate the breakdown of silt and organic matter, great where waterfowl and fish have polluted the water. ‘Aqualibrium-Calcipure’ restores your waters natural balance and can also greatly reduce algae problems by improving water quality on any size pond or lake.
