According to the National Association of Corporate Directors, companies that have women on their boards generate value to their corporations by broadening market vision, enhancing board dynamics, inspiring female stockholders and improving corporate reputation. According to the 2005 Catalyst Census of Women Board of Directors , 14.7% of all board seats in the Fortune 500 list are occupied by women.

    Leslie Hackett is the franchise owner of the West Jordan, Utah Express Employment Professionals office and the zone developer of the West Zone for Express headquarters in Oklahoma City. In 2004, she left her position as a corporate developer to purchase a franchise in the Salt Lake area and became a franchise developer. Hackett is responsible for the sale and development of franchise offices in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, and Nevada.
    Hackett and her husband, Dan, live in Park City, Utah. They have two grown children, Emily and Benjamin, who live in Denver, Colorado.
    The West Jordan Express Employment Professionals franchise began operation in 1996 and serves the city of Salt Lake with temporary help and direct hire employees in a variety of fields, including administrative, commercial, data processing, professional, sales, marketing and more.

      Coach Charli Turner Thorne is the winningest coach in Sun Devil history (269-168) and No. 4 in the Pac-10 in most career wins. She has led the Arizona State women’s basketball team to the postseason 11 consecutive seasons, including a school record five consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances (2005-09). ASU’s seven NCAA Tournament appearances under Turner Thorne are four more than ASU had in the 15 years prior to her arrival in Tempe. In 2009, Turner Thorne guided the Sun Devils to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament for the second time in three seasons. ASU’s final 26-9 record in 2008-09 included a school record 15-game winning streak.
