writing techniques for cover letters, adverts, brochures, sales literature, reports
Writing letters, reports, notes and other communications are important skills for business and personal life. Good letters help to get results, where poor letters fail. People judge others on the quality of their writing, so it's helpful to write well. Here are some simple tips for writing letters and communications of all sorts. Generally, whatever you are writing, get to the main point, quickly and simply. Avoid lengthy preambles. Don't spend ages setting the scene or explaining the background, etc. If you are selling, promoting, proposing something you must identify the main issue (if selling, the strongest unique perceived benefit) and make that the sole focus. Introducing other points distracts and confuses the reader. Use language that your reader uses. If you want clues as to what this might be imagine the newspaper they read, and limit your vocabulary to that found in the newspaper.

Automatic Writing Experiences by Contacting Spirits!
Do spirits exists and if they exist, can they really write for you? Here are few of my automatic writing experiences, which lead me to not only believe in it but also use it for people in distress. Automatic Writing to me is nothing but a event of psychic readings by contacting spirits! Automatic Writing: Do Spirits Write?
Occult sciences have always been a subject of interest for me. From Planchet to the recent experiences in automatic writing, it has been journey through various forms and medias to reach to something beyond visibility.
Communication with Spirits- Believe it or Not!
Existence of spirits has always been one of the most interesting topics for years, decades or even centuries. Today, even in the age of spacecrafts conquering new frontiers, there are people who believe in these activities. The only reason they believe is because they experienced it. And I would definitely say that I am one of them.
I have been experiencing this in various forms for almost one decade now and to the best of it, I used every instance of it, in a positive way to help out others in resolving their issues.

What’s there to discuss about the general journal? I’ve explained why it is your most versatile accounting tool in the articles section of the blog. So what else is there to talk about? Well, here are some tips that may be helpful: When writing general journal entries it is a good idea to work with a format and stick with it. For instance, write the debit first and place it to the far left under the description column. Use only the name of the general ledger account. On the next line, write the credit, but indent three spaces. In the next column write the general ledger account number. On the right side of that column create a column for the debit entries and one for the credit entries. Date or Ref # Account Description GL Number Debits Credits 11/01/XX Bank Charges 8600 25.00 Cash 1010 25.00 To record a NSF fee for check 3366 I’m limited as to drawing forms in this blog format, but you get the idea. A rule of thumb regarding the description is that each journal entry must stand on its own. In other words, if a total stranger read your description he/she would know the purpose of the journal entry. It is real easy to get lazy about writing the descriptions, but you will pay for it later when you are trying to figure out what transpired.

Do you want to return to Dabbling in Writing Saturday, August 28th, 2010
To get the most out of three vacation days and a weekend I am currently at my parents' and have left the kids to them, mostly. I myself holed up in my brother's rooms in the basement and since Thursday I haven't much done but sleeping, reading and surfing the 'net. And only now I am starting to feel like myself again.
Maybe it is so, maybe I need several days to even been able to relax but it has made me rather frustrated. It seems I haven't had any creative thing done this year outside of work and now, when I have some free time, I am lazy.
But frankly, I know that I am tethering at the brink of a burnout. So far I have about nine or ten vacation days left for this year. Some I need to take when the kids' kindergarten closes a few days in November and the rest is for Christmas and new Year. So I wonder if it will be enough.

The Deadly Force October 11th, 2009     He waited quietly behind the door, expecting it to bust open any minute. He braced himself. Armed with exceptional technological and customer service skills, the anticipation of being flooded with customers was almost overwhelming. But as the hours ticked by uneventfully, the door never opened. The advertising campaign that he had put so much money into had bombed out. I recently saw a sign for a repair and maintenance business with the motto, “Creating clients for life.” I’m sure the slogan was a testament to customer service and satisfaction so superior that lifetime business relationships based on trust was the intended outcome. But the words created a much different image in my mind. The first thing that popped into my head was, “Creating problems for life.” I envisioned the need to continually fork over more and more cash to solve the recurring problems that would result from using this repair service. People interpret the meaning of language based on social upbringing, culture, and their past experiences. My own past experiences with this particular line of service providers had been unproductive and expensive—the problems never being fully resolved. Therefore, the thought of this business turning me into a client for life was unacceptable. I wanted someone who would not be needed again after the service call. The slogan that was intended to generate trust and security, instead created a negative connotation.
