Drive-by downloads occur without the knowledge of the user. Simply visiting an infected website may be sufficient for the malware to be downloaded and run on a computer. Vulnerabilities in a user's browser (and browser plug-ins) are exploited in order to infect them. Hackers continually attack legitimate websites in order to compromise them, injecting malicious code into their pages. Then, when a user browses that legitimate (but compromised) site, the injected code is loaded by his/her browser, which initiates the drive-by attack. In this manner, the hacker can infect users without having to trick them into browsing a specific site. To defend against drive-by downloads, you should have effective endpoint security software coupled with web security filtering. Email malware Email malware refers to malware that is distributed via email.

Evarts Powell, WY 82435 307-764-6156 fax Park County School District #1 is located in Northwest Wyoming bordered by Montana on the North and Yellowstone Park on the West. The Powell community is primarily agricultural with beans, sugar beets, oats, barley, corn and alfalfa being the principal crops grown in the area. The area is also known for its cattle production. Most of the county’s wealth lies below ground in oil and natural gas reserves. Fishing, hiking, hunting, river rafting, water skiing, scenic drives, snowmobiling, biking, golf, horseback riding, camping, boating, cross country and downhill skiing are just a few of the recreational activities. The East entrance to Yellowstone Park is seventy-five miles away. Billings, Montana (90 miles North) is the closest major city. Northwest College, founded in 1946, a two-year comprehensive community college offering transfer, occupational and adult education programs is located in Powell. Education has been strongly supported by the Powell community since opening its first classroom in 1908. Park County School District #1 encompasses a geographical area of slightly over 1,400 square miles and includes the communities of Powell, Clark, Garland and Ralston. The District operates with seven attendance centers which include: Clark Elementary School, Parkside Elementary School, Southside Elementary School, Westside Elementary School, Powell Middle School, Powell High School and Shoshone Learning Center. With the exception of Clark Elementary (located in the community of Clark), all are within the city limits of Powell. Current K-12 enrollment is 1,600+ students.

Lady Bucs made history winning their first State Volleyball Tournament! The Lady Bucs opened the state tournament against Farson - defeating the Lady Pronghorns 25-17, 25-12 and 25-11. Next, they would meet the defending state champions, the Burlington Huskies. After losing a close first game 28-30, the Lady Bucs came back with a vengeance and took the next three games 25-18, 25-17, and 25-19. Beating Burlington advanced the Lady Bucs to their first-ever state championship appearance. The Lady Bucs would meet the established volleyball program from Cokeville, a team that has won several state volleyball titles. The Lady Bucs didn’t allow Cokeville’s reputation to intimidate them as they took game one 25-21. However, the Lady Panthers came back fighting in the next two games beating the Lady Bucs 25-16 and 25-16. In game four it looked like Cokeville was going to earn yet another state title, but at 15-10 the Lady Bucs turned it around in true Lady Bucs fashion, beating Cokeville 27-25. Game five was point for point as both teams wanted the title of 1A State Volleyball Champions. The Lady Bucs dug deep - defeating the Cokeville Panthers 15-13.
