Diane Tremblay, artist painter, painting the 72 names ( angels ) of God
I believe that Angels have been around since the beginning of time. You have Angels in your life. From the moment you are born, your personal Angels are around to guide, guard and protect you in your life. At the moment of birth God assigns Angels to each of us. I have studied angels for years and finally have compiled lot of information about them, specially the angels named the 72 names of God. I am sharing with you all I learned hoping it can be helpful. I can also create a unique original painting with angel for you. Diane Tremblay - Angel painter artist from Quebec, Canada.
Angels commonly thought of us as messengers and communicators between humans and God, By the Kabalah teaching, the 72 angels are the inhabitants of the nine divine Choirs from the kabalistic tree of life, and are what we all often refer as the Guardians angels, or Guide angels. By the Kabala the angels connect us to the energies of the Divine, by using the metaphor of the step down transformer-an electrical device (the angels) that decreases a high voltage source (The divine) so that it can be plugged into a lower voltage receptor (humans). On the other side, when we invoke, pray or appeal to the divine, the angels serve as kind of amplifiers to transmit our small and finite communication to the vast and infinite divine.
Angels do not want to be worshipped, they do not want us to pray to them as we pray to the God we worship, but we can't expect guidance from them unless we ask for it. God has given all of us free will and Angels are not permitted to interfere with that unless specifically being asked (unless there is an emergency and a possibility of our dying before our time). To contact Angels, all you need to do is talk. It's as simple as that, just as you would to a friend. There is nothing you can't discuss with Angels. They know everything, so you're able to discuss anything with them. Nothing is too small or trivial for Angels, they're here to guide and help you and it makes them happy when you think of them.

But when the forbidden months are past, then kill and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, an seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

The Zoroastrian religious calendar
The religious calendar is a matter of some controversy among Zoroastrians. There are currently three main calendars in use: Fasli, Shahanshahi, and Qadimi. The oldest Zoroastrian calendar ('Old Avestan') was evidently a seasonal one, but it is not clear how it was kept in harmony with the seasons. In later years ('Younger Avesta' and Sasanian times) the prescribed method was to add a month every 120 years, but none of the three modern calendars follow this tradition. Cf. Denkard 3, chapter 419 and Bundahishn chapter 25.
  • FASLI ('seasonal'): A religious calendar which is kept in harmony with the seasons by intercalating one day every four years, patterned after the Gregorian calendar. Naw Ruz (New Year's Day) is fixed on March 21.
  • SHAHANSHAHI (or Shenshai): The calendar of many Parsee Zoroastrians, including some of the more influential Dasturs (High Priests). It is based on a religious calendar which was theoretically synchronized with the seasons by intercalating a month every 120 years, but the intercalation was not consistently followed. Naw Ruz was observed on August 23, 1995. A recent proposal would reform the Shahanshahi calendar by bringing it back into harmony through the intercalation of whole months.
  • QADIMI ('ancient'): In 1746 a group of priests and laymen in Surat adopted the Irani calendar on the assumption that it represented an older tradition. The Qadimi calendar is one month ahead of the Shahanshahi.

"Zoroastrianism is the oldest of the revealed world-religions, and it has probably had more influence on mankind, directly and indirectly, than any other single faith." - Mary Boyce, Zoroastrians: Their Religious Beliefs and Practices (London: Routledge and Kegan Paul, 1979, p. 1) "Zoroaster was thus the first to teach the doctrines of an individual judgment, Heaven and Hell, the future resurrection of the body, the general Last Judgment, and life everlasting for the reunited soul and body. These doctrines were to become familiar articles of faith to much of mankind, through borrowings by Judaism, Christianity and Islam; yet it is in Zoroastrianism itself that they have their fullest logical coherence....” - Mary Boyce, Op. Cit. p. 29.

The follower is called Parsi because the religion arrived in India from Persia. This religion was established by Zarathustra in 6 th or 7 th century BC. The followers of this religion exiled from Iran in the 7 th century AD. because of religious persecutions by the Muslims. They arrived in Gujarat region of India. The Parsis believe in the existence of one invisible God. They believe that there is a continuous war between the good forces (forces of light) and the evil forces (forces of darkness). The good forces will win if people will do good deeds think good and speak well. God is represented in their temples through fire, which symbolizes light. The holiest place for them is the village of Udvada in Gujarat, India. The holy language of the Parsis is an ancient language spoken in Iran, Avesta. The Parsis believe that fire, water, air and earth are pure element to be preserved and therefore they do not cremate or bury their dead ones but leave them on high towers, specially built for this purpose, to be eaten by hawks and crows.
