SERCAL is a non-profit membership based organization dedicated to the purpose of bringing about the recovery of damaged California ecosystems. To this end, the organization's activities are focused on the presentation of conferences, symposia, workshops, field trips and other educational activities dealing with the many different aspects involved in restoration of California native habitats. 2011 Call for Abstracts
SERCAL also publishes a quarterly newsletter, Ecesis , available to all current members. SERCAL's educational programs and activities are planned and implemented by a volunteer Board of Directors, elected by the organization's membership.
