Bound in full contemporary tree-calf with gilt titled spine labels, raised bands, gilt stamped spine compartments, the date of publication at the base of each spine in gilt, and attractive blue marbled endsheets. Scuffing and some splitting evident to hinges, corners worn (exposing boards in places), leather tanned and cracking a bit at extremities, and with a repair to the lower margin of the title leaf in volume one.
