Surviving are son, Wayne Immel; son, Gene (Mary Jo) Immel; daughter, Nancy Strother; daughter, Betty (John) Kandel; daughter, Charlotte (Roy) Keim; daughter, Judy (Kevin) Yoder; son, Don Immel; daughter, Carolyn Renner; 19 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Harlen Immel.
His parents, wife, brother, Robert Immel, sister, Clara Schlegel, half-sister, Cordula Sudder, 1 grandson and 1 granddaughter preceded him in death.
Memorial services were held September 3, 2008 at Walnut Creek Mennonite, Walnut Creek, OH with burial in the adjoining cemetery.
