Apple produces the iPhone, which is one of the most popular phones to unlock. According to cnet news , when the iPhone was first released, nearly 1 million people purchased the phone with the sole purpose of unlocking it. They seem to be the cell phone company that will be most affected by this ruling, yet their official stance is still unclear. They have never filed a lawsuit against their customers for using jailbreak software, and most assume that they will not challenge the new decision.
Supporters of this new clarification say that it should have been legal long ago. Nilay Patel, managing editor of engadget.com, believes the idea of fair use should protect a consumer if they chose to unlock a cell phone. He also adds, on wbez.com

Bands or arrangers seeking to arrange music for a marching band must seek "Permission to Arrange" from the company or individual that holds the "print rights" to the music. The "print rights" Composition and Publisher Databases are designed to assist you in finding the "print rights" holder.
REMEMBER: You are required by law to acquire your permission to arrange before you begin your arrangements. Do not wait until your entire show is finished.
PERMISSION TO ARRANGE GRANTED IS SPECIFIC
Permission to Arrange is usually granted to specific arrangers, for specific performances, by specific bands, and usually for a given year. The Composition and Publisher Database is designed to give you assistance in locating the "print rights" company. It is not an approved list. Each band should submit its own request as early as possible, prior to selecting its program.
    WHAT CONSTITUTES A NEW ARRANGEMENT?
In addition to unpublished compositions, new arrangements include:
  • "rearrangements" of another marching band arrangement or drum corps arrangement

A court can also issue a temporary injunction to stop an infringing act while it makes its final determination on whether infringement has occurred. Any such injunction is enforceable throughout the United States.

She was a very special woman who made a difference.
Katherine Graham was the owner and former publisher of
    The Washington Post.
Her award-winning autobiography entitled Personal History was
published when she was 79. It discusses her life and career. Mrs. Graham's father, Eugene Meyer, bought the newspaper in the 1930s. But in 1948, when Mr. Meyer retired, he did not turn the post over to his daughter. Women didn't run such enterprises at the time. Instead, the reins were handed over to Katherine Graham's husband, Philip. "My father said to me, and I certainly went along with it, that 'No man should work for his wife'." A Harvard Law School Graduate, Phil Graham is described as "handsome... in a raw-boned, raffish way, and gifted." He is credited with transforming the venture from "a respected
