DINNING ROOM
What a guest list for our family meal!
In our journey though family history we discovered some fascinating folks connected to us by blood or marriage, business or friendship, fact or fable. Take a peak at the name cards placed on the dinning room table. As each guest "arrives" we will add more information about him or him. these leaders of the Mayflower settlers are distant twigs on the Frampton branch of the family tree. Daniel Boone great-great-great-great-grandfather George Adam Shonkwiler and his sons worked for the mighty woodsman Daniel. Julius Ceasar the Caesars of Rome were direct ancestors of ninth-great-grandfather, Thomas Trowbridge. Charlemange forty generations back, the great Emporer supposedly was a direct ancestor of Ted Smetters. Albert Einstein Einstein based some of his theories on research done by his friend and Mitzi's relative, Albert Michelson. Ulysses S. Grant he was a cousin through the Shonkwiler line. The wife of great-great-great-great-great- grandfather Buck was a Grant. Abraham Lincoln Abe was a friend of Great-great-great-grandfather Simon Shonkwiler and served as the family's lawyer. Lincoln attended the wedding of Simon's daughter Mary to John Masterson.
