Publications Books: What is Property? Du principe federatif , 20 vols (1923-50).
Career Socialist writer whose doctrine `property is theft' is self-explanatory. He believed that the current forms of the State had to be replaced by a mutualist organisation of the economy which included free credit and the exchange of services; society would then become a federation of territorial and occupational groups. One of Marx 's earliest publications, The Poverty of Philosophy (1847), is a polemic against Proudhon.

You can assist by editing it Business ethics (also known as Corporate ethics) is a form of applied ethics or professional ethics that examines ethical principles and moral or ethical problems that arise in a business environment. It applies to all aspects of business conduct and is relevant to the conduct of individuals and business organizations as a whole. Applied ethics is a field of ethics that deals with ethical questions in many fields such as medical, technical, legal and business ethics. Business ethics can be both a normative and a descriptive discipline. As a corporate practice and a career specialization, the field is primarily normative. In academia descriptive approaches are also taken. The range and quantity of business ethical issues reflects the degree to which business is perceived to be at odds with non-economic social values. Historically, interest in business ethics accelerated dramatically during the 1980s and 1990s, both within major corporations and within academia. For example, today most major corporate websites lay emphasis on commitment to promoting non-economic social values under a variety of headings (e.g. ethics codes, social responsibility charters). In some cases, corporations have redefined their core values in the light of business ethical considerations (e.g.

Letters from: Proudhon, P-J. (1875) Librairie Internationale; Paris.
Translated by Claire Cahen
From: P.J Proundhon
To Mr. Charles Edmond,
Paris, February 27 1850
My dear Edmond, I write these letters because I am incapable of doing anything else. Everything disgusts and bores me: philosophy, literature, political economics and history. I especially loathe current affairs; and, concerning those that I myself have touched upon, I can no longer bear to hear about them. Always talking; what a pity when there is so much TO DO. Thus, let us ask about the elections in these terms: The country or the foreigner! The nation or the coalition. Inviolability of the territory or invasion, for that is where we stand. The government has done everything to attract foreigners to our home; it has encouraged them, extended invitations, as well as many a welcoming gesture. General Baraguey-d'Hilliers himself! He's become the noble escort of Russians heading to Paris. The cries of Reaction against Socialism remind the vivat of 1814 and the allies of 1815!

Anarchism (Bookshelf)
From Project Gutenberg, the first producer of free ebooks. Jump to: navigation search Anarchism is a group of political philosophies and attitudes which reject compulsory government and support its elimination, often due to a wider rejection of involuntary or permanent authority. Anarchism is "a cluster of doctrines and attitudes centered on the belief that government is both harmful and unnecessary." The term "anarchism" derives from the Greek αναρχία ("without archons," "without rulers"). There are many types and traditions of anarchism, but not all of them are mutually exclusive. Other than the description above, "there is no single defining position that all anarchists hold, and those considered anarchists at best share a certain family resemblance." Anarchists follow several different economic systems. Many favor libertarian communism, collectivist anarchism or participatory economics while others support free market systems like mutualism, agorism, or anarcho-capitalism. Anarchist schools may differ fundamentally, supporting anything from extreme individualism to complete collectivism. Anarchism on Wikipedia , the Free Encyclopedia.
