Macintosh Emulators
Emulator Zone has always been focused to emulators that run on Windows and DOS. The time has come for this to change! Introducing this, the Mac section! This is where you will find an extensive list of links to the official sites for these emulators(if available) as well as local downloads! We will try to keep downloads here updated as much as we can. This is an attempt to fill the gap that the lack of MAC sites has created(there are very few of them). Note: Most of these emulators are designed for MacOS X.

Welcome to Linux/mac68k!
The goal of this project is to port Linux to the 68k-based Macintoshes (not PowerMacs) and support as much of the associated hardware as possible. There are currently ports of the 2.2, 2.4 and 2.6 kernels. Just about every Mac with a 68030 or better processor is usable in some form under Linux/mac68k, though support for certain hardware devices is still under development. A 68020 CPU with 68851 PMMU should work also. Older 68000-based Macs are not supported. For more information on which machines will work, see the machine status page If you're new to Linux/mac68k, see the documentation section where you can find the FAQ and instructions on how to get started installing Linux on your machine. We need developers! If you're interested in lending a hand, send email to the mailing list . Programming and kernel experience is nice to have, but not necessary.

    R.I.P., Macintosh
Is Apple ignoring its signature line of computers and laptops? Yup.
Click the image above for a look at Apple's innovations. Dear Macintosh,
I hate to tell you this, but my guess is you’ve probably been sensing it already. I don’t know any good way to say it, so let me just be blunt: You’ve been dropped. Dumped. It’s over.
I’m sorry. I know this hurts. But you need to face up to the truth–Steve Jobs just broke up with you. This happened yesterday at the World Wide Developers Conference. I know–why couldn’t he just do it in private? Well, you know Steve. He loves the spotlight. So what did he talk about? He talked about iPads, and the App Store, and iBooks, and videogames. He talked about the new iPhone 4, with new video-chat software called FaceTime and a gyroscope that lets you shoot missiles into outer space and take pictures of Saturn or something. And he had lots and lots to say about his new mobile-phone operating system, which used to be called iPhone OS and now has changed its name to iOS 4.
But one thing Steve didn’t have much to say about was you. In fact, he didn’t talk about you at all. That’s not how it used to be. Remember the old days?
