142. RobotFlow : Open Source Robotics Toolkit For FlowDesigner
Linux/Gnome Open Source robotics simulation toolkit for Overflow. Supports vision, signal processing, fuzzy logic, neural nets, and other control methods. Includes drivers for Pioneer2 robots. Written in C++ and licensed under the GNU LGPL.
http://robotflow.sourceforge.net/
Project Description
RobotFlow is a mobile robotics tookit based on the FlowDesigner project The work on RobotFlow has begun in september 2001 as an University of Sherbrooke project in the Mobile Robotics and Intelligent Systems Laboratory (LABORIUS) . The work on the project still continues and will become available to everybody through SourceForge as a LGPL project. . It primarily supports Linux/Unix using the GNOME GUI. fully customizable control and processing blocks
Pioneer2 Robots

Player / Stage
simulator drivers for Overflow/RobotFlow
- Signal processing algorithms (audio + video)
- Basic Behaviors
- Fuzzy Logic control
- Artificial Neural Networks
- Embedded super blocks (subnets, iterators)
- Basic networking (TCP/IP, broadcast)
- Device control (Sony EVI-D30, SICK lasers, etc.)
- Finite State Machine (beta) Networks created with the visual interface called "flowdesigner" can also be run as scripts (with no graphical interface), enabling robots with lower resources to fully take advantage of FlowDesigner / RobotFlow. FlowDesigner provides an easy way to create your own data types/structures and blocks as toolkits.
Open Architecture
FlowDesigner / Robotflow provides the full source code (LGPL license) that you can modify and play with. Users can then improve the processing engine and the toolkits for the benefit of all the users. You can also create your own "private" toolkits, and continue to participate to the development of the "core" library.

Leibniz System Software
The Leibniz System software carries out most algorithms of the book Design of Logic-based Intelligent Systems , published by Wiley, 2004.
Each purchaser of the book automatically acquires a license to download the Leibniz System software for use in commercial and noncommercial installations. The software is supplied in source code form and with accompanying manual.
The following conditions and restrictions apply to the downloading and use of the Leibniz System software. In the description below, the term "purchaser" is a person, or a for-profit or not-for-profit corporation, or any other organization such as a university, institute, or entity of government. The term "book" refers to the book "Design of Logic-based Intelligent Systems," published by Wiley, 2004. The term "controlled" means owned or leased.
Here are the restrictions for downloading and use of the Leibniz System software.
