Welcome! My name is Mike, and I've focused on one simple goal since first putting this website on the web back in 1996 - and that is to make it easy for anyone to get started designing and drawing with easy to use CAD software. This website is intended to introduce someone like you who might be interested in computer-assisted drawing to easy to use software. If you are just getting started or even if you already have CAD experience, you should check out my latest hand-picked fully supported products direct from the publisher. Much of the software is available as free trial downloads so you can play with the programs before you buy. DesignCAD and particularly TurboCAD are known to be some of the easiest to use CAD

CADCourse teams up with Legacy Woodworking
CADCourse is very pleased to be able to announce that we have teamed up with Legacy Woodworking to offer a complete woodworking solution for the TurboCAD customer. Guided by online training and support from Rob Berry of CADCourse you'll learn how to use TurboCAD to create your design in 3-D and then prepare the 2-D cutting profiles for the CNC machine. With properly created profiles you'll easily be able to import into VCarve to create the G code to drive the CNC machine to create your part. The Legacy Woodworking CNC machines are affordable yet extremely capable. If you are a woodworker trying to take your craft to the next level please feel free to contact us to discuss a solution that will best fit your needs. The following video illustrates one example of what we managed to achieve with the combination of TurboCAD, VCarve at the Legacy Woodworking CNC machines:

Unless you know how to wield a bucket, apparently. Then it's business as usual. Unfortunately I haven't been playing as much F:NV as... well I guess as I'd expect myself to be playing. Every time I fire it up, I enjoy it for about fifteen minutes, and then I'm overcome with an unavoidable feeling of "Oh yeah, I've played this before." Which is to say, I think I put so much time into Fallout 3 that maybe I got burnt out on the same barren wastelands and Bethesday playdough-face NPCs. This week didn't bring as much new shiny as hoped either, with The Force Unleashed 2 being an incredibly disappointment. While the first game had an interesting story which cleverly fit right into the Star Wars canon, TFU2's story seems more like "lolololclones is how we get more money!"
