... e Evolution (also known as biological genetic or organic evolution ) is the change in the inherited traits of a population of organisms through successive generations. This change results from interactions between processes that introduce variation into a population, and other processes that remove it. As a result, variants with particular traits become more, or less, common. A trait is a particular characteristic— anatomical biochemical or behavioural —that is the result of gene–environment interaction The main source of variation is mutation , which introduces genetic changes. These changes are

Evolution
Biological evolution is the change in a population's inherited traits from generation to generation. These traits are encoded as genes that are copied and passed on to offspring during reproduction. Mutations and other random changes in these genes can produce new or altered traits, resulting in inheritable differences (genetic variation) between organisms. Evolution occurs when these differences become more common or rare in a population. This either happens through natural selection, which is caused by differences in the reproductive value of the traits, or randomly through genetic drift. Read more

Charles Darwin developed the theory of evolution.
The theory of evolution is one of the best-known scientific theories around. Try to make it through a day without using or hearing the word "evolution" and you'll see just how widespread this theory is. Evolution is fascinating because it attempts to answer one of the most basic human questions: Where did life, and human beings, come from? The theory of evolution proposes that life and humans arose through a natural process. A very large number of people do not believe this, which is something that keeps evolution in the news. Up Next
In this article, we will explore the theory of evolution and how it works. We will also examine several important areas that show holes in the current theory places where scientific research will be working in the coming years in order to complete the theory. The holes are considered by many to be proof that the theory of evolution should be overthrown. As a result, quite a bit of controversy has surrounded evolution ever since it was first proposed.

    6. Evolution For Creationists
This article argues that evolution is an observed, natural fact. It then tries to provide answers to many of the problems Creationists may have with the theory of evolution.

evolution is a scientific theory used by biologists. It explains how animals and plants changed over a long time, and how they have come to be the way they are.

    Evolution
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation search The Tree of Life showing evolution since the beginning of life. Evolution is a scientific theory used by biologists . It explains how animals and plants changed over a long time, and how they have come to be the way they are. The earth has been around for a very long time. By doing research on the layers of rock we can find out about its past. That kind of research is called historical geology . We know that living things have changed over time, because we can see their remains in the rocks. These remains are called " fossils ". So we know that the animals and plants of today are different from those of long ago. And the further we go back, the more different the fossils are. How has this come about? Evolution has taken place. That evolution has taken place is a fact , because it is overwhelmingly supported by many lines of evidence At the same time, evolutionary questions are still being actively researched by biologists. The theory of evolution is the basis of modern biology. Nothing in biology makes sense without it.
