California's Geology
California's remarkable geology is the result of volcanic and tectonic activity. Its majestic mountains were shaped by glaciers during the ice ages as well as by wind and rain. The scenic coastline of California is continually shaped by the pounding waves of the Pacific Ocean. California has a wealth of mineral resources, including the rich soil of the Central Valley, the gold of the Sierra, and oil off the coast and in various locations across the state.

THE GEMHUNTER
Gemstones are timeless treasures of nature or other unusual light display or interference. When mankind first picked a stone from the ground for its innate beauty rather than as a tool or weapon, this symbolized an important event in evolution. Mankind visualized beauty. When this stone was given to another as a gesture of friendship or love - a unique quality of the human soul was manifested in the sharing. Recognizing rock and mineral associations successful geologist Doubly Fortunate that sold in Hong Kong for US$9.3 million in 1997. cognac champagne diamonds of great demand. Yellow diamonds, also once considered low-value stones, are now marketed as Canaries. Other gems, such as zoisite, an alteration mineral, were brilliantly marketed as Tanzanite . For the economic geologist, it is important to note how valuable gems are in comparison to other commodities. This site is for the layman, prospector, treasure hunter, rock hound geoscientist diamonds colored gemstones gold gem deposits including a few that are world class Many of these sat right under the noses of people for decades simply because they didn't look or know how to search for these treasures.

Handbook of Gold Exploration and Evaluation Covers a Comprehensive Range of Topics Including the Nature and History of Gold, Geology of Gold Ore Deposits and Gold Deposition in the Weathering Environment.
DUBLIN, Ireland Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/reports/c53411) has announced the addition of Handbook of Gold Exploration and Evaluation to their offering.
Designed for geologists and engineers engaged specifically in the search for gold deposits of all types and as a reference for academics in higher schools of learning, Handbook of gold exploration and evaluation provides principles and detailed explanations that underpin the correct interpretation of day-to-day experience in the field. Problems are addressed with regard to the analysis, interpretation and understanding of the general framework within which both primary and secondary gold resources are explored, developed and exploited.
- covers the nature and history of gold
- addresses problems with regard to the framework in which gold resources are explored, developed and exploited

Location
The CUD claim is located 7 km from the gold mining community of Bissett, Manitoba where San Gold Resources Corporation (TSX-V: SGR) is operating two mines and a mill. The property is bounded on its south border by claims held by San Gold Resources and on which is located their #3 gold zone. The community of Bissett Manitoba is located roughly 3 hours drive northeast, by an all season provincial highway from Manitoba’s capital city of Winnipeg.
History
Of significance, in 2005 San Gold drilled 16 diamond drill hole between 40 m and 180 m of the CUD claim boundary. The holes were drilled in a south-southwest direction in order to intersect a north-northeast plunging zone of gold mineralization. The CUD Claim appears to cover the down plunge extent of this mineralized zone and the very close proximity of the San Gold drill holes which includes intercept highlights of up to 19.5’ assaying 0.51 ounce per tonne gold, 21’ assaying 0.21 ounce per tonne gold and 8.9’ assaying 0.33 ounce per tonne gold.

Gold in California
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation search Gold in California became highly concentrated there as the result of global forces operating over hundreds of millions of years. Volcanoes, tectonic plates and erosion all combined to concentrate billions of dollars worth of gold in the mountains of California . During the California Gold Rush , gold-seekers known as "Forty-Niners" retrieved this gold, at first using simple techniques, and then developed more sophisticated techniques, which spread around the world.
