For all those bingo players out there looking for the ultimate online bingo website, check out Dream Bingo! Five-pin bowling isn't as well known as tenpin bowling. The game was invented in the early twentieth century by Thomas Ryan at the Toronto Bowling Club. It came about as some people found tenpin bowling too difficult. If you like games of strategy, luck and skill such as chess, casino games and snooker you will like five-pin bowling. The pins aren't as big as they are in tenpin bowling. Also the ball isn't as heavy. The balls in five pin bowling can fit in the palm of your hand. They have no holes for your fingers. Scoring is simple. The central pin is worth five, those on either side of it are three and the two on the outside are two. That is 15 points in total Softroll Balls Aramith Balls Only $72.50 each

It has been a busy time for us with all of the tournaments and upcoming fundraisers! Congratulations to all zone winners and City Champions going on to represent us at the Provincial Championships you will make us proud. We are also pleased with the start of our very own monthly newsletter. Our goal is to have a newsletter with up to date news with what is happening in Winnipeg and for it to be sent out via email each month. We have had 3 each of the last 3 months and have had some great feedback. You can see a copy of them on the attached link. If you want to see anything added to them, just contact a board member with your ideas. A reminder to everyone that cash bowl tickets need to start coming in. With the draw happening at the Open Provincials in Brandon on Easter weekend, it is coming up on us fast. Remember that any league that takes 80% for the league gets half of the profits. We wish all the teams and singles representing Winnipeg at the upcoming Provincial Championships the best of luck!

39. Bowling Ball - Wikipedia, The Free Encyclopedia
Duckpins are correspondingly shorter and lighter than their tenpin equivalents and it is more difficult to knock them all down with a single roll. Five-pin bowling balls
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bowling_ball
Bowling ball
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation search A plastic ball and two bowling pins. A bowling ball is a round ball made from urethane plastic reactive resin or a combination of these materials which is used in the sport of bowling Ten-pin bowling balls generally have a set of three holes drilled in them, one each for the ring and middle finger , and one for the thumb ; however, rules allow for up to five finger holes. A five-pin bowling ball has no finger holes and is smaller so that the bowler can hold the ball in the palm of his or her hand. Candlepin bowling balls also fit in the hand, but are lighter than five-pin balls. There are also six- to 16-pound bowling balls. The max limit allowed in tournament games or league games is 16, but balls of up to 20 pounds are available. Most bowling alleys provide free balls for patrons to use, called house balls, although avid bowlers may purchase their own. These are often customized, and can feature specially sized finger holes (in the case of ten-pin balls) or monograms . Because purchased balls are usually drilled to match the owner's fingers, most can throw a customized bowling ball that is one to two pounds heavier than the house ball they previously used.
