    The Regina Highland Games has been in operation each year since 1995. We promote all things Scottish and provide an excellent opportunity for members of the local and neighbouring Scottish communities to get involved and showcase their talents and promote their wares. Pipers, drummers, dancers, heavy events athletes, and enthusiasts from all over the prairies come to Regina each year on the May long weekend to participate in this exciting event. In true Scottish hospitality, the Games provides a friendly environment for members of the public to come and watch the various events taking place including the piping and drumming highland dancing heavy events medieval battle , and the very popular evening ceilidh party . After watching your favourite event, take a stroll through our vendors market and pick-up something uniquely Scottish like a clan badge, sporran, sgian dubh ( skeen doo - sock dagger ) or even a kilt! Food and refreshments are available all day long.

A Celtic festival presented annually on the Sunday of the Labour Day weekend, including highland dance, piping and drumming, heavy sports, sheep dog demonstrations, massed bands, clan tents, Celtic wares and traditional food and beverages. In addition we offer a pancake breakfast, a beer garden and non-stop entertainment in our heated festival tent morning to night. We thank our many sponsors and volunteers for making this a signature summer event in Canmore!

The Society promotes Scottish culture through membership, education and celebration of all things Scottish. The Caledonian Society welcomes anyone who is Scottish by birth, by heritage, or to anyone who is interested in learning about our unique culture.
The Caledonian Society meets the 2nd Thursday of every month at the Granite Reef Community Center in Scottsdale, at 6:45 pm. Please stop by and join us for one of our membership meetings to learn more of what the Society has to offer.
Along with the membership meetings, the Society hosts the annual Arizona Scottish Highland Games and Celtic Gathering. In 2011, the Games will be held at Steele Indian School Park, February 26th and 27th.

Designed by Marksman Design Since the first Games were held in 1948, the people of Glengarry have extended close to a million welcomes to visitors who come to see what is estimated to be one of the largest Highland Games in the world. Hundreds of thousands of people have found themselves drawn once a year to Maxville, to witness an outstanding display of music dance sports fiddling ... pageantry , and tradition In the course of the day, more than 60 pipe bands are put through their paces to decide the North American Pipe Band Championships™, more than 200 dancers defy gravity in the Highland Dance competition and giants hurl telephone pole-sized cabers and 50 pound iron hammers around the infield.
