Welcome to the Exum Guide Service and School of American Mountaineering in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
We offer rock climbing instruction and guided mountain climbing in Grand Teton National Park and in many adjacent climbing areas. We are the oldest guide service in North America and the most prestigious. Exum has guided the Grand Teton for 79 years. During that period individuals from age 8 to 80 have reached the summit with us after only two days of instruction. Our programs range from a fun day on the rocks for the whole family to serious alpine adventures throughout the Teton Range. Our guides are among the most experienced in the world. They will ensure a fun and memorable experience for two kids in a basic climbing class or two adults on the Grand Teton climb. We are proud of our history and traditions. We are an American Mountain Guides Association accredited guide service. Come climb with Exum!
