Awesome fun on one wheel! If you enjoy the challenge and pleasure of getting around on a single wheel, then you need to attend these High Desert's juggle/unicycle workshops. The goals are "to promote social and athletic interests in juggling/unicycling and offer assistance to fellow enthusiasts."
Workshops are held every 1st Sunday of the month from 9:30 to 11:30 am at Hook Community Center in the City of Victorville, (760) 245-5551. The cost is $2.00 per person; payable in advance or at sign-in. Come out for a morning full of exercise and fun. Welcome to the home of Gonzo Unicycle Madness, the unicycle club at Harvey Mudd College . We no longer make any claims about how many members we have, but it's probably more than three and fewer than a million. Many of us actually know how to ride a unicycle, believe it or not. If you like to ride a unicycle also, we'd love to hear from you. If you live in the Southern California area, maybe you could come to one of our events. Our main annual event is the Foster's Run, and there are pictures of the 2001 and 1998 rides under the section below labeled, "Foster's Run".

Hi, Vera!
The Auburn Unicycle Club, also known as the Auburn Unicyclists, is based in Auburn, Alabama, home of Auburn University . War Eagle!! The club is open to anyone who can ride a unicycle. There is no membership fee. Most of our riders are children and young people between 6 and 17 years old, but we also have adult members, university students, and parents. There are about 40 active members, and almost 100 people in the Auburn - Opelika area have learned to balance atop one wheel.
What We Do
The Auburn Unicycle Club meets about twice a month for "fun, exercise, learning, sharing, and fellowship," as our Director would say. Anyone who can ride a unicycle is welcome. The club usually meets on the first and third Sunday of each month, from 2:00 to 3:30pm, at the Dean Road Recreation Center, 307 South Dean Road. Subject to change. Verify dates and times with Seth. We meet to practice, teach each other new skills, show off to passers by, and generally have fun. We also perform at parades and sporting events, for civic organizations and churches, at public and private schools, and we are happy to give demonstrations as time and resources allow. Recent events include the Mardi Gras parade at the Montgomery campus, Christmas parades in Auburn and Opelika, and an Independence Day parade in Marietta, GA. For more information, or to schedule an event, contact Seth or Sally Granberry. You can reach them by mail at 1329 Sanders Street, Auburn, AL 36830, by phone at (334)821-5290, or by email at

Welcome!
Welcome to the new look site. It's been a good while since I've updated anything on here... but that doesn't mean I haven't been doing anything. Over the last few months I've been working away on a custom program to manage all the content on this very site. There's still some more to be done in the form of adding dynamic content and that will come as soon as it's ready. Anyroad, it's still early days, so please feel free to send me any thoughts or comments Neil

The mad unicyclist of Ann Arbor.

My name is Thom Brooks. As of January 2009 my wife and I have relocated to Austin, TX. In May 2009 I began working for the Austin office of Data Projections, Inc. I design, program, install and service Audio-Visual systems, many of which are controlled by Crestron or AMX automation processors. Prior to this, I lived in Chicago, IL since 2001 and had worked for the Adler Planetarium and Astronomy Museum since 2002. I was the Senior Systems Engineer in the I.T. department. My resume (updated February 2009) is available online , or as a PDF file Word document or plain text
Portfolios of my work are available for the following years: (10 MB PDF), (5 MB PDF) I've volunteered with Special Days Camp , a camp for children with cancer and their siblings, since 1998. Why 'unithom'? I have been riding the unicycle since 1997.
However, in 2004 I finally graduated to a two-wheel bike. Since then, I have logged over 20,000 miles.
Most of this has been from bike commuting year-round , and participating in the MS Bike Tour I also enjoy rock climbing, snowboarding, hang gliding and

I guess nobody can accuse me of posting too often in 2006. We did pick up a new regularly-attending member and have hopes for a few more in the new year. This winter has been warm and wet so far; we'll be out again if the weather is warm (45 degrees F. or better) and dry. Just posted two new photos of a ride through Sharon Woods last fall. posted by mjh at 9:41 PM

As my schedule will take me out of town this week, look for extra-light attendance at meetings today and next Sunday. I really want to reconstitute this group; if you are in the area and want to ride anyway, please try to come out to Winton Woods on a Sunday afternoon. One of these Sundays, we'll get together and fall back into a rhythm of regular meetings. posted by mjh at 7:26 AM

Lehigh Valley Unicycle Society We have had some renewed interest in riding this year. The kids and their friends have been learning some new tricks. We've also acquired a few new unis this year. I was compelled to buy a 5 foot Savage after attending the June Jugglefest at Kutztown this year. Everyone is riding it - even "game boy", who I thought would never go outside! The Coker arrived a week later for Father's Day, complete with air seat and v-brake. It's hard to mount, but it sure is fast! If anyone in the Lehigh Valley, PA area is interested in getting this club going or just riding with us, please drop me a line. Here are the Same Old Pictures from our first meeting . The Redford Township Unicycle Club (RTUC) began in 1975 as a group of neighborhood teen-agers who enjoyed riding unicycles. They challenged one another to learn new tricks and returned from their first National Convention (held that year in Pontiac, MI) determined to become one of the best clubs competing. The riders made all of the wooden equipment (ramps and beams) that is still being used today. Several of them created unusual unicycles, such as the 4" and 2" wheeled unicycles. In 1979 sixteen of the riders spent a month in Europe performing with the Redford Union High School Band in Germany, Austria and northern Italy.
The club has now taken on a very different look. No longer are the riders entirely school-age children. The Club is now inter-generational with many fathers and mothers riding with their children and several active three-generation families.
