The BBC and Master Computer Public Domain Library 8BS Magazine Articles The pages here are files taken directly off the 8-Bit Software Magazine discs. They are presented by a script in 40 column or 80 column format as they would have appeared on the 8BS discs. The script converts Teletext colour formatting codes in the 40 column files. Where areas of graphics are in the 40 column Teletext files, I have placed this graphic to approximate what is there Not handled:
Double height characters. Teletext produces double height using 2 lines of repeated text. Usually both lines of text are the same. However, if you use different text and colours on the lines, it is possible to get quite neat effects. The method I have used here is to ignore the second line and increase the font size.
